Get Involved – Policy Makers

Let your Voices be Heard!
Advocate for Better Early Childhood Policies

Putting Detroit’s Children and Families First Requires Policy Changes at Every Level.

Early childhood education and childcare are underfunded and need not only community support but policy changes to safeguard and advance the health and well-being of Detroit’s children and families.

Polices such as family leave improve employee retention and create healthier communities.
We need to get policymakers in our corner, from improving financial stability to creating stronger connections between early childhood, K-12 education, health, and identifying resources for higher-quality early childhood programs and services.

Together we can affect change right now. Check out the resources below to get started.
