Mandatory Provider Spending Reports Due by March 1, 2023
If you received a Spring Child Care Stabilization Grant, the time has come to begin putting together your spending report. Because this is a grant, not a loan, you don't have to repay the funds. But you are required to report how you spent the funds, current enrollment information, and verify payments of bonuses to staff.
To prepare for reporting your spending, the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) recommends using the Expense Tracking Tool created by First Children's Finance. It lists all possible categories of expenditures and provides a tool for tracking spending for 12 months.
