Hope Starts Here Launches Ready. Set. Enroll., an Online Early Education and Care Resource for Detroit Families.

Detroit, Mich., (August 10, 2022) – Hope Starts Here partnered with Homeroom Detroit to launch Ready. Set. Enroll., a virtual collection of materials, tools, and activities to support families in accessing and enrolling in early education and care programs throughout Detroit and Wayne County.

Ready. Set. Enroll., is a curated collection of enrollment specific resources such as schools, early education and care programs and community hubs, classes, and events, powered by Homeroom Detroit for families to search for and enroll their children in options best suited to their specific needs. It’s a virtual space where families can drop-in to connect with community partners, childcare and education providers and many more resources designed to support families.

“When choosing an early education program for your child, there is so much to consider and so many places to turn for information it can be overwhelming for parents and families. With the help of our partners, we created a virtual front door to enrollment resources all in one place,” said Denise L. Smith, Implementation Director with Hope Starts Here. “Ready. Set. Enroll is a new interactive platform for parents and families in Detroit and Wayne County to access the resources they need to connect and engage with providers and put our early learners on the road to success in kindergarten and beyond,” said Smith.
