Nearly 1.7 million Michigan households are eligible to get a discount on their monthly internet service through the federal Affordable Connectivity Program. The Michigan Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ACT Now initiative is partnering with cities and community organizations and the Education Super Highway, a non-profit that aims to close the broadband affordability gap, to help people enroll in the program.
Who is Eligible?
- Eligible households include families with incomes at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level, or $60,000 for a family of four.
- Those who qualify for Lifeline, SNAP, free and reduced-price school lunches, WIC and other government programs.
