Share your thoughts and early childcare experiences with Senator Peters!

This past fall U.S. Senator Patty Murray (WA) and U.S. Representative Bobby Scott (VA) introduced “The Child Care for Working Families Act”, an important bill that advances affordable, high-quality early learning options for our littlest learners and provides a livable wage to early childhood professionals.

Now we want to spread the word to Senator Peters’ office and ask him to co-sponsor this important piece of legislation and tell him about our early learning experiences (the good, the bad, and the frustrating!).

RSVP now to join us in Detroit on Wednesday, April 25th at 10:30 a.m. to meet with Senator Peters’ staff to discuss early learning like childcare and pre-K!

  • Who: Moms, dads, kids, early childhood professionals, advocates, and YOU. (Feel free to bring your little ones with you!)
  • When: Wednesday, April 25th at 10:30 a.m.
  • Where: New Order Coffee-3100 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201. (We will be meeting in a private room. Street parking is available and there is a stop nearby for the new Q Line).

***Join us to chat childcare and pre-K with Senator Peters’ staff on Wednesday, April 25th. RSVP here!

We want to make sure our voices are heard so the Senator decides to advocate on behalf of working families and co-sponsor the Child Care for Working Families Act, so after you RSVP, please forward this email to your friends and family and invite them to join us for this high-impact event.

Together we can show our support for high-quality, affordable early learning!
