PNC’s recently announced series of early childhood investments align with several of the Hope Starts Here Imperatives. Through providing access to STEAM experiences at the Henry Ford in Dearborn, the bank has committed to improving the quality of Detroit’s early learning experiences for more than 1,000 children and provided an intentional connection between what children learn in the early years to what they will be exposed to once they begin school. The bank’s support of the early childhood workforce through the funding of special projects and initiatives also aligns with an important need amplified through Hope Starts Here: better support and retention in the early childhood workforce.
